Leadership
Russ McClelland
Russ is a technology executive with over 20 years of experience building enterprise software products and platforms. Before founding smartObjx in 2017, he held senior architecture and leadership roles at companies including RealPage, ACTIVE Network, Optimal Blue, and Tenet Healthcare — giving him a front-row view of the same infrastructure problems SaaS teams face again and again.
He started smartObjx to solve those problems once, the right way, so development teams don't have to keep reinventing the wheel. His focus is on cloud-native microservices that help SaaS companies move faster, reduce complexity, and build software that scales — without rebuilding from scratch every time.
